This Oregon photo tour is a self-drive adventure that will allow us plenty of opportunities to shoot the gorgeous coast in different situations and with different light. We will visit some spectacular seacliffs, craggly sea stacks, the blissful coastal Redwoods, and the Milky Way.
We will stay in a decent-sized town with plenty of amenities in South Oregon, which puts us in an ideal spot to capture a variety of different scenes. We pick the best locations depending on the conditions and ensure everyone receives the required education in field. We will also do post-processing sessions back in town, sharing all of the different techniques we use to enhance the mood and emotion of our images. All classroom sessions will be recorded with detailed play by play steps on how we process, dodge & burn and edit the details of our Milky Way and astro photos.
This 5-day itinerary workshop will give us plenty of time to visit different locations and experience an assortment of conditions on the coast.
Everyone is responsible for getting to the meeting points and back and around the area with his/her own transportation. Prior to the trip, we can put all the participants in touch should you wish to share a car. None of the hikes during this workshop are over a mile, however, you will be walking up and down different elevations and the trails could also be muddy so bring sturdy hiking boots or shoes and hiking poles can be great.
Don't miss your chance to be part of this unforgettable photography adventure! Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot today and prepare to unleash your creativity amidst the wild beauty this Summer on the Oregon Coast!

Welcome to my world of art, where I thrive creating and teaching photography. Living a nomadic life since 2017, I am a full time photographer and educator, hosting dozens of group masterclass workshops and 1-on-1 photography adventure workshops every year all over the country. For me, photography isn’t just about capturing an image, it’s a free-flowing way to express my creative side using my camera as one of the main tools. As with many tools, there is so much room to grow and become more in tune with your craft. My passion lies just as much in sharing my own skills, techniques and teachings as it does guiding students to hone their own skills and/or discover what photography means to them.
For me, teaching is a way to grow as an artist. How we see nature is a very personal thing and I believe there is no right way to capture it. Instead, sharpening our skill set out in the field and in the digital dark room unfolds the full potential (myself and others see when they admire your work). Surrounding ourselves with other creatives of all skill levels as well as other highly motivated photographers helps to push boundaries to unlock more of our own potential.
My passion for teaching my masterclass workshops and 1-on-1 classes stem from my own experiences breaking into photography. I remember clicking away at nature as my therapy, but wanting to create impactful images that evoke emotion. I wished I knew someone, anyone, that could mentor me and put me on a fast track to invest in my passion and seek the results I knew I was capable of. I see a piece of me in every student and I get true enjoyment in watching others grow that passion.
Another way I’ve found photography to inspire a creative side of me I never knew I had was through writing. As I publish images on Social Platforms such as Instagram, I write a poem to go with each image. They tend to reflect the images, experiences and people along the way of my journey. It’s amazing to see how one creative outlet can lead to another.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me here. I hope that you have enjoyed these few moments getting to know me. And remember, I am here to help you grow. No matter what your skill level.

Jason is a fine art and landscape photographer who travels full-time with his wife and two dogs in their Airstream. After nearly 20 years as a software engineer, he was drawn to landscape photography for quite a few reasons. The allure of challenging himself creatively and seeking the rewards from doing so led him down a road of explorations that he otherwise may not have unraveled had it not been for his camera.
Teaching has always been a passion of his. In fact, he was one of the original students in Kenny’s first Oregon Coast workshop over 5 years ago, and continues to invest in his own growth through teaching and participating in workshops every year. He believes that no matter what the student and teacher’s skill level is, everyone has something to learn(and teach). His expertise, patience and knowledge is invaluable to the group and we’re excited to have him instructing for the 2nd year in a row.
